What is a commission painting?
Simply stated, a commissioned painting or sculpture is a work of art that is custom made to your specifications. When you employ an artist to create an original oil painting, pastel, or watercolor of you, a family member, your garden, your home, favorite pet, or even a fine art caricature portrait of a loved one at their occupation or hobby. A cast bronze sculpture can also be made to order for indoor or outdoor display.
Who are our artists?
Our artists are awarded, professional, and qualified to perform the work you desire to be done. To name a few, Sandy Askey-Adams, James Bennett, Dot Bunn, Barry Woods Johnston, William Dean Kilpatrick, Robert Koch, Tom Linker, Steve Messenger, and Richard Summons. We have access to a pool of other artists depending upon your specific requirements
How does the process work?
Once you decide on a subject, all you need to do is call us and share some information about what it is you would like an artwork of. We will invite you in to the gallery to meet with an appropriate artist to complete the job. During that meeting, we will quote a price and give you a time frame based on several factors. A deposit will be required, and the work will begin. During the next few weeks, you will meet with us once or twice again to see either a sketch, or drawing of the commissioned work. If there are any changes you would like done, this is the time to make any necessary adjustments.
How long will it take for completion?
Once you have approved the final drawing(s), you will be given an estimated date of completion. An additional deposit will be required at that time. In some instances, you may need for a deadline to be met. It is understood that a "Rush Job" is often required and that should be brought to our attention during the initial visit. We will do everything possible to meet that deadline as long as it is a reasonable request.

We can help! Imagine looking for a gift idea for and accountant or attorney or any kind of occupation. What about a fine art caricature of that person painted behind their desk or at their work place, tailored to their specific job? Like a portrait of your home to hang over your fireplace? We can do it. Your pet, no problem! Would you like to see your bountiful garden painted and captured on canvas? A bronze bust of a loved one, living or passed.
